This is certainly the best of the current crop of Italian bands that I've heard thus far; there's twelve minutes of exciting psycho-drama spread thickly over three tracks. For a three piece band they create a very full sound with Curadi's vibrant guitar buzzing, stinging and generally pervading every inch of precious vinyl. Whilst this record could easily be mistaken for the out-pourings of some time-shrouded acid crazed combo of the late 60's there is a bizarre Mediterranean tinge to, particularly, "Dreamin' Demon" which brings some sense of originality yet the track itself sounds like a heady mixyture of a Sergio Leone western film score and the Yardbirds' "Heart Full Of Soul." Fascinating. To sample the current fledgeling Italian scene I can think of no better place to start. ~Jon Storey
Knowing this belongs to the territory of lost in tyme interests, i inform you (and anyone else who cares about) that i have posted MARC JEFFREY`s "PLAYTIME" at our blog "01fragments.blogspot.com" while i haven`t detected it posted anywhere else (though searchmachines sometimes do not show a complete picture). We intent to post a lot of rare stuff in the near future if, of course, people care about. So please have a future eye `n ` ear to us ...- paramo
