Hi folks! I'm a newbie here and I hope someone can help...

I'm looking for an album by an all girl band from the sixties called the Ace of Cups.
They were from San Francisco, CA and as far as I know they never did any studio recordings so the stuff on the record is all live.

They pre-dated other girl bands like Bertha and Fanny and it's a shame that they never got signed. I saw them at a "Love In" in So. Calif. when I was a teenager and they kicked butt!!

If anyone can help, please let me know.

Thanks,
Kitty

Yes it is!! Thanks Billy!!

I didn't realize any film footage existed of the girls. That song was so beautiful it gave me chills.

Since my post here, I found out that the band has a website and a CD available for sale there. The song from YouTube is on it!

If anyone is interested in finding out more about the band, here's their webite:

Thanks again for the head's up on the video!!

Kitty

P.S. I found out this tidbit in a review: ". . . They're also the women you hear chanting "Doesn't have to be, doesn't have to be..." during the outro of the Electric Flag's 1968 hit 'Groovin' Is Easy'."
