    Zu Zu's Petals were 3 girls from Madison, WI. They started in the "riot-grrrl" era, but even in this (their first) single, I can see that they tried to be different. They managed to put out some 7s and two LPs, until 1994, when they disbanded. Their singer Laurie Lindeen wrote a book about those years (Petal Pusher) and is now married to Paul Westerberg.
