 Perpetually handicapped by the lack of sophisticated sound equipment which in BEAT music constitutes a critical factor in the success of the group, The Savages never lost their spirit . They arrived on 17/10/1967 at a annual Beat Competition and were acclaimed as Bombay's best. Immediately after this success ,they cut their first single "Girl Next Door" / "Pain".
On 28/2/1969 The Savages strike again earning the Sound Trophy for their "Curiosity Satisfied". More singles continued...but they never managed to make a major success.
