The Effervescent Elephants are a strange Italian Barret-inspired group as the name suggests; nods are taken to Syd's guitar style (they do a cover of Interstellar Overdrive). The band has a nice laid-back vibe, sub-par vocals are treated with much reverb and down in the mix creating and sustaining a nice Italian "haze". If that sounds at all good to you, this comes highly recommended.
