Mike Bloomfield - 1977 - Analine
Takoma (vinyl rip, 320 kbps)

Tracks :
1 Peepin' An A-Moanin' Blues

3 Frankie And Johnny
4 At The Cross
5 Big 'C' Blues
6 Hilo Waltz
7 Effinona Rag
8 Mood Indigo
9 Analine

The late 70's found Mike Bloomfield grappling with demons: alcohol, heroin and his own overt fear of fame and success. But listening to this album you wouldn't know it. It is a low-key affair, true- certainly not earth-shaking like The Paul Butterfield Blues Band or Electric Flag had been- but there's an overall self-satisfied vibe to it and it's expertly played in the style of his album, "If You Love These Blues Play 'Em As You Please", the Grammy-nominated release from 1976. Enjoyable and apparently never released on CD.
